In addition to this, we forecast that an average Mediterranean home using 4 kW of solar cooling would save approximately 13,000 kWh per year. This means saving €3,000 and 7 tonnes of CO2.
Solar Polar solutions have a great potential in tackling these numbers, because it is affordable, modular and off-grid. We listed below the use cases that we targeted, based on the greatest impact that our solutions can have, together with a viable route to market .

Our product is particularly advantageous where mains gas is not available, and electricity is used for space heating. Electricity is 2 to 4 time more expensive way to heat water and buildings than gas. As electricity prices increase and gas becomes scarcer and more taxed for emissions, then this difference will increase.
